Magnificent Melaka
Melaka is a historical seaside town located about 2 hours’ drive from Kuala Lumpur. In the 15th century, Melaka was a major trading hub linking Asia and Europe, and it has been strongly influenced by the culture and architecture of India, China, Portugal, the Netherlands and Britain.
As one of Malaysia’s UNESCO World Heritage sites, Melaka is a popular international tourist destination with a range of historical attractions, scenic pedestrian walkways and a myriad of food offerings. It is well worth making the trip from KL to visit this unique town.
